We've been keeping tabs on Eden Rain for a while here at TMR; 'Rent In The City' is her best track yet. It's a laid-back cut that takes neo-soul influence and adds modern production and a unique vocal style into the mix. The track is a slow burn, gradually layering synths and percussion until we burst into the memorable chorus. On her latest song, Eden Rain says: "For maximum enjoyment of the song I think you need to listen to as you watch over people’s shoulders as they play candy crush on the tube and you’re stood under someone’s armpit at rush hour in summer. Bonus points if you’re a grown man and singcrying to it in the shower." It's a great take on a great tune.
